In just a few weeks a bunch of food bloggers will be gathering in Sacramento for this year’s IFBC (International Food Blogger Conference) and it promises to be one heck of an event!
A group of us are already planning a party for one of the evenings, a repeat of one we held last year. Some of the same folks are returning, and other new friends are joining. It is such a treat to have time to relax together and share stories.
Inevitably the talk will turn to our businesses, the art of blogging and challenges we face. That’s when the wisdom of the participants shows. Each person has something valuable to share, helping all of us gain another inch on the ladder of success.
I am always in awe of the talent of my friends. Each one does an outstanding job of sharing their favorite recipes, solving other people’s challenges, creating captivating images, and giving us a glimpse into their lives.
The agenda for IFBC is packed with relevant and timely sessions led by some of the best in the business. There is nothing like learning from your friends – it adds a new dimension of approachability. I know I can always call them if I have a question about their presentation!
There is so much to look forward to … skills to be learned, new sponsors to meet, more friends to make, and the joy of spending time with the people you like most. There are still tickets available if you can join us – we would love that. Imagine how much fun we would have!
I’ll be back after the conference to share more of my experiences at IFBC while in our state’s capital!
