Welcome to the new and improved Heritage Cook website! I am excited to have you take a look around and discover all the bells and whistles we have in store for you.
Thank you to everyone for your patience as we launched the newly designed website. It has been fun working with Kristy at Peppercorn Creative to create a beautiful design that will make it easier for you to visualize the recipes as you search and will be more “friendly” when you are accessing it from your mobile devices.
Some things may work differently than you are used to, but hopefully most of it will be intuitive and easy to navigate. That’s our goal! There is still work happening on the back-end, and as with all projects, I’m sure the few bumps in the road you may see will smooth out over the coming weeks.
Each one of my nearly 1000 recipes has to be loaded individually into the new Recipe Card plug-in, and as you can imagine, this takes a lot of work. So some of the pages will have the pretty new recipe card and some will have the original formatting, but in a few weeks all of them will look the same.
In the meantime, for those pages still in the original format, there is a button at the bottom of the page to help you print out just the recipes or the whole page. In searches, if you notice some images missing, the pages are live and the images are in the process of being added when the page is being converted to the new recipe card format.
So I encourage you to grab a cup of coffee, roam around, enjoy the bigger photos, fun new options, and get to know the new design. I hope you love it as much as I do.
Welcome and enjoy your tour!
