This week’s Chocolate Monday treat is courtesy of David Lebovitz, former Chez Panisse Pastry Chef, and cookbook author extraordinaire. David is one of the authors I admire most. His recipes are always easy to follow and fairly simple, even if they are long. Just follow his directions and you are guaranteed success! This dessert is made in two parts, so plan on starting it one day and finishing the next. Check out The Heritage Cook blog all week for recipes that will help you celebrate the Fourth of July in fine fashion … old-fashioned that is, LOL!
