With the 4th of July here, my friends and I will be heading outside to celebrate with picnics, parties, and barbecues. I have made my side dishes in advance and will be focused on cooking over live fire, my favorite method!
Thanks to the kind folks at Certified Angus Beef ® brand and Cowboy Charcoal, we will be enjoying beautiful grilled strip steaks! Is there anything better? And a fun beverage to serve with them will be a bottle of Mondavi’s Bourbon Barrel-Aged Cabernet Sauvignon. Yep they’re using bourbon barrels to add flavor. With lots of fruit and a toasty back note, it is the perfect way to toast the 4th!
Here are some of my favorite recipes, covering main dishes, sides, sauces, and some sweets for dessert. Dive in and have a fabulous holiday!
