This week’s Chocolate Monday recipe is perfect for parties because you can make it ahead and have it ready to go when dinner is finished. I like having recipes like this in my arsenal. Something I can whip up quickly so that I don’t have to spend as much time in the kitchen and can enjoy the company of my guests. Smooth and rich, this dessert has an intense chocolate flavor that will satisfy any chocoholic’s sweet tooth!

To be prepared for Monday’s baking, add these ingredients to your shopping list:
1 box of Oreo cookies, or other crisp chocolate wafer cookies
2-1/2 lbs cream cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
4 large eggs
1-3/4 cups granulated sugar
6 oz semisweet chocolate
1-1/2 oz milk, semisweet, or bittersweet chocolate
Unsweetened cocoa powder
Graham cracker crumbs
Unsalted or regular butter
Vanilla extract
