St. Patrick’s Day is one of my favorite holidays – everyone gets to be an honorary Leprechaun for a day! While I’m traveling in Kentucky for the annual IACP conference, I thought it would be fun to do a round-up of some of my favorite recipes I have shared on The Heritage Cook over the years.
Now let’s get to those delightful and delicious recipes – just click on the links to be transferred to the original posts and don’t forget to come back to discover more fun recipes!
Where would we be without a sweet ending to every celebration … I have created a delightful array of sweet treats to help you become Irish for the day – and imbibe in one or two of them!
Pull out your fancy food colorings and sprinkles, and have your children help you decorate together. They always love being included in the activities, and don’t worry about everything being perfect, the beauty is in the fun everyone has!
Cupcakes are the perfect individual serving sweets, with automatic portion control built in. All of these recipes can be converted to regular cakes if you prefer, but cupcakes are always popular in my house, and I am grateful that it is now easy for me to make them all gluten-free!
And of course where would we be without a sweet ending to every celebration … I have created a delightful array of sweet treats to help you become Irish for the day – and imbibe in one or two of them!
